Menu seemed to be slightly outdated (listed salad dressings they hadn't had in a while), but the staff were attentive and polite. Menu main courses range from $39-75 and come with two sides and a starter salad. The salad was out on the table 3 minutes after we'd ordered which was excellent timing. Pictures show $55 Crab Legs, the included salad, and the $12 velvet cheesecake. The cheesecake wasn't as tasty as anticipated. We would recommend the New York Cheesecake instead.
IronRock is an extraordinary experience. The environment is striking, modern, and comfortable. The staff was warm, attentive, and professional. The entrees were absolutely incredible in taste and presentation, and the drinks were fabulous. It all leads to a ‘must visit’ recommendation. We will be returning with frequency. Our recent trip was very enjoyable, thanks to our server, who was very friendly & communicative about our order status, and the quality of the food & drink, which was delicious, satisfying, and quite filling.
An absolutely amazing time! The first thing you'll notice when arriving is how beautiful the architecture is. It made me do a double take when driving by. A wine and beer list to put any other place to shame. We got the pork nachos to start and couldn't believe our eyes when they arrived. The nachos were so good my companion couldn't even eat his main course. My main course was the salmon, and the flavors were superb! On the pricey side but well worth it. The atmosphere, flavors, and service were top notch.
My wife has wanted to try this restaraunt for a long time so I treated her out for an early Mothers Day Dinner. The architecture is beautiful and although the music is my genre, classical or mixed instrumental or world music would have elevated the ambiance. Our server, Tina, was absolutely outstanding and should be promoted to head waitress. She introduced herself, carried a smile and an eager attentiveness throughout our meal. She offered alternatives when they didnt have a particular drink I requested and at the end of the meal asked in a very beautiful and gentle way for a review. She leads by example and should be the standard for your wait staff. Top 3 all time best Ive had. With the understanding that the kitchen staff is very new, I can be forgiving with my food review. It was good, temperature appropriate and a hearty portion, but overpriced. For the price, I would expect the steak to be aged and thicker cut. It was cooked correctly to medium but surprisingly a little tough and a little charred. The glaze was nice and the brocclini a highlight. The berry viniagrette on the salad was also a highlight. In this age where good help is hard to find, I sincerely hope this young staff will continue to improve their skill with experience. They have great potential and I applaude their efforts. Overall it was a lovely experience and my wife was pleased to finally have the opportunoty to try Iron Rock. We will definitely return, but next time for lunch. Lower your prices a bit and you will likely find a larger clientelle.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Nice to have a quality upscale restaurant in the area. 20241019 Visited again and was not disappointed. The Chicken & Sausage Cajun Alfredo is OUT OF THIS WORLD good. I will have a very difficult time not ordering that each time I am there. Jake our server was also great. Thanks for adding to our enjoyable evening Jake.
The food was acceptable, and it certainly met my expectations for the occasion. The service provided was outstanding and exceeded all previous experiences. Tina exhibited remarkable attentiveness and ensured that every need was promptly addressed. Her kindness and efficiency made the entire dining experience exceptionally enjoyable. Overall, she deserves recognition for her exceptional service.
Service was prompt and friendly. Food was hot and tasty. We went during restaurant week and were able to select from the three choices. My reason for four stars vs five stars was the kitchen: I ordered the fish with couscous and asparagus and the asparagus wasn't on the plate. Also, with only two dinners served to the table, one meal was 5 minutes behind the other. Same with the desert course; two different selections were five minutes apart.
